My first project for today is using the Season Greetings Silhouettes stamp set. Such a fun & versatile winter scene! Perfect for the Holidays & beyond!
This winter scene was so fun to create. I used the Prima Finnabar Snowflake Paste to create all the snow on the card. The images were stamped in Versafine Onyx Black Ink, and the background blended with the following Distress Oxides: Broken China, Blueprint Sketch & Black Soot.

For my second project today, I used the Rhino Bird Day Stamp set & coordinating dies. These Rhino images are great fun to color. I used the Copic Warm Grey family to color them in. This card was meant to be a birthday card, and I must have had Christmas on my mind as I ended up using green/red for the party accessories! So, now it's a Christmas Birthday card! LOL!!

Get Cracking On Christmas Blog Hop

How many of you find yourselves in a mad rush at the holiday season to make cards, only to run short on time. I know I do! I am always wishing I would have started the card making a lot sooner!! Well, that is how the #getcrackingonchristmas started. Jenn, Chari & Cheiron started doing a series the third Thursday of each month. This month they asked a bunch of ladies to join them to do a #getcracking blog hop.

So, grab a cup of coffee and join us for some Holiday inspiration! For today, I created two cards. My first card is using Honey Bee Stamps products.
This fun coffee cup shaker card was created using the Honey Bee Stamps Merry Christmas Stamp Set,  Merry & Bright Honey Cuts Die Set, Coffee Cup Card Honey Cut Dies and Blah Humbunny Stamp Set.
I stamped the holly leaves and berries using Lawn Fawn's Chili Pepper & Noble Fir inks & the cardstock is Lawn Fawn in coordinating colors.

Here is a photo showing the Coffee Card Sleeve removed to reveal the shaker bits. This card is so fun & will fit a Starbucks gift card inside perfectly. Great for those quick, last minute gift ideas we all need during the Holidays.

My second card was created using Lawn Fawn's Winter Village Stamp & Die set, the Stitched Hillside Portrait Backdrop & the Here We Go A-Waddling Stamp set.

I colored all the images with Copic Markers, and used Distress Oxide ink in Broken China to ink blend the sky and the snowy hills!

Be sure to leave a comment below. Honey Bee Stamps has generously offered a $25 Gift Certificate to one lucky winner on my blog. Winner will be announced on July 26th.  Oh, and I should mention that Honey Bee Stamps is having a new release at the end of the month!! So be sure to check out the sneak week coming soon!

Honey Bee Stamps & WOW Embossing Blog Hop

Hi Friends!!
Welcome to a very special Blog Hop collaboration with the
                                            Honey Bee StampsWOW! Embossing Powder.

If you are hopping along, you should have come from Julie Hickey and the next on the hop is my friend Melissa Bickford

For today's projects, I created my cards using the WOW! Opaque Pastel Pink Embossing Powder. It was so fun to create some clean & simples cards with a pop of pink embossing. I hope you enjoy these cards & are inspired to try them out yourself.

For this card I used the Love you Honey Cuts Die, the Stitched Scallop Circle Die set to create a focal point on the card. I used the embossing powder to emboss the dies and the strip of cardstock on the side. This way it was all coordinating in color. I added some heart embellishments to carry the pop of pink color throughout the card.
Here is a close up showing the Pastel Pink embossed dies.
For this card I used the Sweet Honey Cuts die and the heart embellishment to add a little something extra. I cut the die several times and created a background for the card using all white for a tone on tone look. I embossed the Sweet Honey Cut Die with the WOW Pastel Pink Embossing Powder to have a pop of color.
Here is a close up to show the embossing powder detail. I am in love with this pretty pastel pink!!!

Honey Bee Stamps Cheerful Love Blog Hop

Thank you for stopping by for the Honey Bee Stamps Cheerful Love Blog Hop - Day 2!!!  All the fantastic products are now available in the shop. (affiliate links used, thank you for your support!)

For today's blog hop I created two projects. The first project is a fun Graduation card in unexpected colors!

I used the Penny the Platypus set and the
Congratulations Honey Cuts Die.  I thought it would be fun to receive a happy & colorful graduation card, instead of the usual expected school colors!! This was a quick card that I stamped the graduation caps in random places to create a background. I used my Copic markers (YG06, RV17, BG15, BG11, Y18, RV11) to color them in, no real shading needed since this is a busy background!

This next card I created was also using the Penny the Platypus stamp set. However, this was using the set in a very different way. I hope this shows you how truly versatile these stamp sets are!

For this fun Birthday card, I got out Cloud Stencil from the Outdoor Scene Builder Stencil set & Prismacolor Watercolor pencils. I used the watercolor pencils to color in the images & the grass. Once I was done with the coloring, I stamped the Birthday sentiment from the Cheerful Sentiment stamp set.

Be sure to visit each blog & leave a comment, you don't want to miss out on any of the fun prizes!!! They will be giving away TWO $30 gift cards to the Honey Bee Stamps store.

The release is now available in the store.
Thank you all so much for stopping by. I hope you have enjoyed
the inspiration & the new release!
